PAIMIO SANATORIUM 90 YEARS

PROJECT TYPE POSTER, INTERNATIONAL POSTER COMPETITION

Paimio Sanatorium, a functionalist masterpiece designed by architects Aino and Alvar Aalto, celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2023. An international poster competition under the theme "Human Perspective" was organized to celebrate the event. I won 3rd prize in the competition with my poster 'Take a Seat'. 

This poster celebrates the joyful details of color and shape: the famous Paimio Chair that Aaltos designed specifically for this building, and Paimio interior colors from the building’s original color scheme as designed by artist Eino Kauria.
